We went to the zoo on Wednesday afternoon! The traffic was HORRENDOUS. The line to get in was bad.
ReplyDeleteHowever, once in the zoo the animals were quite active. Not like the summer when they do nothing so they can try and stay cool. The river otters, merikats and small monkeys were all noteworthy.
We had a party of four and got in for $36 with a AAA discount. The drinks out of the machines hover around $3.00 each so be prepared.
It was shoulder-to-shoulder people around the exhibits but we had a good time!
I'm so glad you went to the zoo! We were there on Wednesday also, but we got there before the major traffic (outside and in!). It was such a pleasant trip for us - I went with my 5 kids and a neighbors daughter, so there were 7 total. I'm excited to go back with my hubby in the summer...:o)
