Target Price Adjustment Policy & My $65 DinoRoars Toy for Only $4.88

I'm sure you're getting tired of my Target adventures today, but I wanted to be sure to let you know about my price adjustment at Target today.

Way back this past September, my youngest son wanted this toy for his birthday:

This is the super cool, super neat-o Playskool T Rex DinoRoars Stomper toy, whose price isn't so budget friendly at $64.99.  Needless to say, I wasn't about to pay $64.99 for this toy, so I diligently looked for a sale.  In December, coupons.com had a great coupon for $10.00 off valid until January 15.  I printed off 2 (just in case) and saved them to see what price I could get after Christmas.

Now it's January, and 10 days ago I stumbled upon this dinosaur for only $29.90!  I grabbed it and ran to the nearest cashier with my $10.00 coupon in hand.  I was thrilled to say the least - a $65.00 toy for only 20 bucks?  Woo hoo!

So today as I was meandering through my Target I noticed that select toys are now marked 75% off. Although the dino toy wasn't there any longer, I decided to ask customer service to check and see if it was marked down even further.  It WAS!  It had been marked down to only $14.88, so they gave me a price adjustment since it had only been 10 days (their limit is 14 days).

That means I got a $65 toy for only $4.88!  AMAZING!

I put the dino away for his birthday in September, and I was also able to grab several toys for my other children as well.  The prices were so good I even picked up a few birthday gifts for the parties my kids get invited to throughout the year.

Point being this: if you see an item you purchased at Target go down in price within 14 days of purchase, ask customer service for a price adjustment!
