My Craft Organization Plan: Part 2

I'm sorry I haven't updated my craft organization since Monday, but I ran into some problems.  As I was putting together one of the pieces, I discovered that the second-to-last piece was measured incorrectly and I needed to return it.  I also decided I wanted some different pieces, so back to the store I went yesterday.

As you know, yesterday was my shopping spree day and I didn't have a chance to get to the organizing, although I did complete building the units.  This morning I began the tedious task of filling my unit (after I arranged the cubes the way I wanted them!).  Here's what it looked like before I started:

This is a photo of just SOME of the items that needed to go in this unit:

After spending nearly 3 hours filling, arranging, and re-arranging, I decided I needed to take a break!  I will continue the project tomorrow, but I'm pleased to announce that I got almost all my craft stuff in here!  I have lots of stamps, inks, scrapbook supplies, papers, and other miscellaneous crafts and I was stunned to see how much of it actually fit in this unit:

I purchased 10 cubes at $15.00 each, plus a spinning rack for $10.00.  In total, this whole storage unit only cost $160.00 + tax.  I felt it was a great bargain and it looks so much cleaner than the big totes I had my stuff in before.  This will make my office switch much easier, and I'm so excited to bring the kids in for some craft time!

This is the perfect time of year to begin to organize my home.  In addition to switching offices, I have a few painting projects to tackle as well - it's going to be a busy (but rewarding) year!  If you have any organizing projects you're starting, leave a comment  at the bottom of this post and tell everyone about it!
