Transfering Prescriptions

I realized today that I haven't done a post about transfering prescriptions yet.  We fill a few regular prescriptions in our home monthly, and I haven't paid for a single one in MONTHS!  At least once every few weeks, one of the stores around here will offer a gift card for transfering a prescription.  Randalls just released a new one yesterday for a $30 gift card with any transfered prescription, Kroger had one two weeks ago for $20.00, and you can get a $25 gift card with any transfered prescription at Rite Aid as well.

For instance, I transfered a prescription to Randalls, paid my $10 co-pay out of pocket, and got a $30.00 gift card.  I then transfered another prescription, used my $30 gift card to pay for it, and I only spent a total of $10.00 out of pocket!   I have $50.00 in gift cards and my two prescriptions!

This is just another way to pinch pennies, and I wanted to pass along the info to my readers!
