A Day at The Movies

We had a great time at the movies today!  We went to the first showing of the day and paid only $5.00 per ticket at Cinemark.  

I don't let my kids drink soda or sugary drinks unless it's a special occasion, so I let them grab a Pepsi today - we had lots of 12 pks from the Walgreens Super Bowl sale a few weeks ago, so we stuck them in our bags before we left.  I then ran over to Kroger to get some movie candy - I used my B1G1F coupons for Starburst and Skittles   (not sure if those are still available) AND my buy 2 get 1 free on the clearance Stride gum and spent only $1.58 on candies!

I also went ahead and got a large popcorn, and split it amongst us with the paper lunch sacks I brought, plus we got 1 free refill so we all had plenty.

All in all, our movie day cost $38.08, not too bad for all 6 of us!

P.S. The kids love to make goofy faces!!
