I saw a sign in my local Randalls store tonight about a gift card deal next week valid 11/27-11/28 ONLY. Buy $200.00 in gift cards and get $20.00 off! It wasn't close enough for me to get the details, but it appeared that if you buy $200.00 in gift cards you get a coupon for $20.00 off your next purchase of $50.00 or more. This may not sound like the best deal to be had, but if you think about it, it's 10% off. Randalls sells ALL sorts of gift cards from many of the top stores we know and love. Since most of us shop the black Friday sales, just pop in to your local Randalls, Safeway, Vonns, etc... on Friday before you go shopping and grab gift cards for the stores you plan to visit. I've purchased Aeropostale, Toys R Us, Target, and restaurant cards at Randalls - there are so many choices you just can't go wrong!
Something else to keep in mind - gift cards can be used to make online purchases. If you shop online through ebates.com, you earn cash back on all purchases. Pair the ebates rebate with the gift cards you bought at Randalls AND the black Friday specials and you can save some serious dough! I LOVE deals like this!
