Remember this shocking white armoire (you should, I just showed it to you a few hours ago!)? Weeelll, I painted it super glossy midnight black today! It took three straight hours of painting, but I think it looks much better:
Don't you? I'll be adding more details such as a fabric covered backing in the open spot, plus shiny new crystal knobs for the bottom drawers. The girl's new bedding will be black and white with a hint of fushcia pink, so I'm toying with the idea of adding a touch of pink to the dresser - what do you think?
The doors are a thing of the past. Hubby built them, they fell off, and we've just left it open since. I think once I add the fabric to the back it'll look better that way, but we'll see.
I wasn't able to get to any other projects today besides this armoire and all but two of the legs for my last bench. I'll be adding those two legs and then sanding and staining the table and benches tomorrow, but I also have to build some trellises for the beans and tomoatoes in my garden.
Anyone else doing some projects? I'd love to see pics!
I remember this, I really want to see your new upgrade on it! And I think the pink and black would look good together.
