I keep getting asked how I'm able to fit all these projects into my already busy schedule. Well, it's been a struggle (as my limited sales postings can testify!), but I am managing to get a few things done in between coats of stain, sawing, and feeding the new veggie garden.
I am working on a new schedule: I went grocery shopping this morning, got dinner ready to cook when I got home, threw on some laundry, then headed out to the garage for endless hours of staining.
Kevin comes home every day for lunch so I stopped and ate with him, switched the laundry, set a timer to go get the kids, and went back to work. I worked for another 45 mins, went to get my daughter, came home and stained for another 45 mins, went to get the little kids, and went back to work. Homework gets done between now and dinner.
I just stopped to write this post and am heading downstairs to get dinner started while the stain dries. Dinner is at 6:45, so I'll do more laundry between now and then, plus I have to apply the veggie food to the garden before I start staining the benches.
WHEW! I sure do like to stay busy, but one of these days I might just sit down and watch one of the bazillion shows I have on the DVR and clip all my coupons! I have about three weeks' worth of coupons to clip and organize, pus I need to throw out all the expired ones.
A day in the life. Mom of five. Is it bed time yet?
